DONATION RESOURCES

Keeping things out of the landfill is a high value in our business. Here are some of the Bay Area nonprofits that will happily take your unwanted items.

    SCRAP

    Scrap is a creative reuse center benefiting artists, teachers, and makers! They accept art supplies, paper, textiles, signage and promotional items, buttons, beads, wire and notions, natural materials (feathers, pinecones, candles, wax), lab glass and plastics. Check out my post about SCRAP.

    Community Thrift

    Community Thrift Store is a non profit retail organization & sustainable business that raises funds for over 200 charities of choice.

    Goodwill

    Goodwill sells goods to break the cycle of poverty for thousands of local people through free training and work placement programs. They accept:  household items, bedding, towels, throw pillows, curtains, lighting, artwork, dishes, computers, networking equipment, televisions, printers, consumer electronics, bikes and boards, books, and more!

    SF Animal Care and Control

    ACC is the city-run animal shelter in San Francisco. It's also where my husband and I adopted our beloved dog Rocco! They accept blankets, towels, pet carriers, pet food, and supplies.

    To empower women to achieve economic independence by providing support with professional attire & tools to thrive.

    They accept women's professional clothing (suits, blouses, pants, jackets, blazers, skirts, dresses, shoes, jewelry, scarves & bags) & no more than 5 yrs old.
